The Perfect Weekend

So, Friday night I was visiting my Dad because he was lonely. My Mom left him for the weekend to go see Kairi. Marcus and I made him, Logan, and Heather Mexican Salad for dinner. Then we talked about my cousin going through the temple the next day. She is older, and has been married for quite a few years. Her husband had never taken her through the temple. I was really contemplating on whether I wanted to wake up at 5 in the morning to go, but we were up Saturday morning headed to the temple! Is was the most amazing experience. Bonnie and Rick reminded me of teenagers when they got sealed. She had the biggest smile on her face the whole time, and a continuous stream of happy tears running down her cheeks. The greatest part of the sealing was they sealed her two grown sons who have passed away to them. It was amazing. That's the first time I have ever seen that happen. I'm so happy Bonnie finally got her wishes to be sealed in the temple, and that I got to witness the amazing event!!

Saturday it rained in Mesquite like none other! Marcus was at work, so Phoebe and I were at home enjoying doing absolutely nothing. I just got up enough motivation to start cleaning the house, and the rained knocked the power out. DARN! I realized I don't like being alone with my thoughts and nothing else to occupy my mind, so I went to my Dad's house and Marcus came over there after work, and we just hung out with him and Branae for the night.

Sunday and Monday were my definition of the perfect day. I sat at home and did whatever I wanted without having anything I had to do. It was SO amazing. After Marcus got home Monday, were were sitting there contemplating what to do with the rest of the day, and like he could read our minds, Mike called and invited us to their house for a BBQ. It was yummy. G&g were there, so naturally we ended up playing rook, which was perfectly fine with me. Marcus, Mike, and G against Becky, g, and me. Girls of course dominated, much to the boys dismay.
