Saturday the 20th, we planned to go to Tuacahn to see the lights with Ashlie and her family, and Logan and Heather. We took Shaynie with us. We went up early so I could get some stuff for church and Marcus wanted to do some shopping for Christmas, so Shaynie and I went shopping while Marcus, Logan and Heather went shopping.

Shaynie and I went to K-Mart and got our Christmas Pajamas. I picked mine out, and let Shaynie pick out Marcus'. I was excited because they were buy 1 get 1 FREE! So we both got 2 new pairs of PJs for Christmas.
After shopping, we went to hang out at Ashile's house while Marcus shopped. Ashlie lives in Ivins, and there was snow on the ground, so Shaynie was so excited to play in it. Then Ashlie fed us taco soup and we headed to Tuacahn. There were lots of Christmas lights, but it was too blasted cold to enjoy very much. We went and let the girls sit on Santa's lap... We liked Santa. He had an outside heater to warm us up! Then we rode a train! It was so awesome. It took us on a very short tour of Tuacahn. The girls LOVED the ride. They were so excited to be on a train. Then we went to Ashlie's house and had hot chocolate. Ashlie, Ryan, McKadie

On the way home, Shaynie said, "Well, I think we better stop and get something... like a slushee." There was snow on the ground and she wanted a slushee?!? We stopped at Flying J to get gas and a snack, but they didn't have a slushee. She was upset, but settled for a bug juice and sweet tarts. We started talking on the way home, and I said something to her, and looked back and she was out like a light. We really wore her out because she didn't wake up when we got her out of the car. I guess she had a good time because she asked her mom, "Mom, can McKenzie and Marcus babysit me?"
