What's for dinner?

Neither M or m make decisions well. This REALLY affects our eating habits. M never has any opinion about what's for dinner, and m couldn't care less if she ate most nights. So, the other night, we were trying to decide what we wanted for dinner, and you guessed, it! We couldn't think of anything. M said jokingly, "We need a dinner jar. When we can't figure out what we want, we can draw a meal from the jar." He was just joking, but m thought that was a GREAT idea! She tweaked his idea a bit: she wrote down 22 dinners (random number I know. That's just how many pieces I cut the paper into Ü) and had M draw them out. She wrote down a meal for everyday for the next 22 days and they had their meals all planned out so they don't have to worry about what's for dinner every night!

So far it's been handy. The first night we had chicken (supposed to be parmesan, but we didn't have any mozerella cheese) and yesterday we had quesadillas! Tonight we get to have Mexican Salad, Mmm Mmm good!

So, if you can't ever decide what to do for dinner, this idea works great! Now we don't have to worry about dinners until the middle of August! Maybe we will save money by not running out for McDonalds or Jack in the Box.

I love this idea! Now if you will only share the 22 different meals you came up with...then I don't even have to do that part!

Let's see... There was:
1: hamburgers
2: hot dogs
3: steaks
4: quesadillas
5: parmesan chicken
6: mexican salad
7: tacos
8: enchiladas
9: roast
10: mac & cheese
11: pizza
12: english muffin pizzas
13: spaghetti
14: alfredo

Um, so yeah, that's all I can remember.

That is a great idea! It's so hard to cook in the summer when it's hot. I just want to drink fruit slushes... then I get hunger pains! You guys sure are cute.

What an smart sister (and brother-in-law) I have. That is the part of the day I hate the most. Trying to figure out what to make for dinner. I don't have a problem cooking it, some nights, but I hate deciding. I think you know what I mean :) Anyway, I will have to try it too. Then you can shop all at once and save some more money.

That is such a good idea!! I am totally making one since we can't make decisions very well either.
