Cake Mix Cookies

I got this Scruptious Sunday Snack from my favorite older sister. Enjoy!

Ingredients
1 Cake mix

1/3 c. oil

2 Eggs

1 tsp. Vanilla or other flavoring of your choice

Directions

Beat together: Eggs, oil and flavoring. Add 1/2 of the cake mix and hand mix until smooth. Add the rest of the cake mix and blend. You can add nuts, chocolate chips, coconut, ect. if you want. Drop by teaspoonfuls on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 10-12 min.

I used a cherry chip cake mix (one of my favorites, but still doesn't beat funfetti!). I didn't add any extra ingredients, and mine made 31,... probably could have made closer to 34 if I would have stayed away from the batter Ü Mmm. Mmm. Good!

S'more Sandwich Cookies

Since we don't go to church until 2, I decided I would try and make different treats on Sunday. My Scrumptious Sunday Snacks Ü Today I tried S'more Sandwich Cookies. I found the recipe here. They are good, and really do taste like s'mores. My batch made 15 sandwiches. That's all the cookies I had, or I could have stretched the cream much farther to make more sandwiches.

Here is the recipe!
INGREDIENTS
1 (18-oz.) pkg. (20 cookies) Pillsbury® Ready to Bake!™ Refrigerated Chocolate Chip Cookies or 1 (18-oz.) pkg. Pillsbury® Refrigerated Chocolate Chip Cookies
2 cups powdered sugar
1 (7-oz.) jar (1 1/2 cups) marshmallow creme

DIRECTIONS
-Prepare and bake cookies as directed. Cool at least 2 minutes.
-Meanwhile, in medium bowl, mix 1/2 c. powdered sugar and marshmallow creme until well blended.
-Sprinkle counter with powdered sugar. Knead in remaining p. sugar. Shape mixture into two 8-inch ropes. Cut ropes into 2-inch pieces. Place 1 piece between 2 cookies; gently press together. Repeat with remaining marshmallow mixture.
I simplified the recipe A LOT! I bought a bag of soft chocolate chip cookies, skipping the baking and waiting that's involved. Marcus liked them, I thought they were OK, but you can't eat more than one, or you'll go into a sugar coma! Test it out and let me know what you think!
