Training

So Tuesday I went to St. George to learn how to answer the phone,.. yes, I typed that right, I learned how to answer a phone, and I was told, "When you answer the phone, you say, SouthWest Federal Credit Union, This is McKenzie, How may I help you?" I really almost laughed. I have been working here for a year and 9 months! Needless to say, after that first question or comment, I had a good time! I would really consider being a full-time call center person. They have a nice job. They sit in a room with other ladies all day and answer questions for people or transfer them. They don't have to deal with customers face to face!

I went back for training on Wednesday, because apparently one day wasn't enough. But really, I had a lot of fun, and really wouldn't mind working there... I would just have to want to live in St. George.. That's the problema. On the way to my sister's house after work, I again realized why I don't enjoy St. George. The traffic was horrible. She lives in Ivins, which is in the boonies, and there was honestly like a 15 car caravan the whole way! I couldn't believe it. Anywho, I went to her house because her brother-in-law brought down some Christmas trees, and my parents, Ren, and us bought trees from them! Real live trees! We'll see if we can keep it alive. Last night was not a good omen of having luck with the tree, but I'll blog about that later,... when I put up pictures of our tree,.. if it turns out pretty that is.

Marcus has been going to school twice a week at Dixie in St. George, and today he went to work at 6, left at 8:30 for school, and after school, came back to Mesquite to close for work. He wasn't too excited about it. Hopefully he'll be happy when he gets home. He got invited to play football tonight, which made him happy. I am going to babysit Mike and Becky's boys.. Wish me luck that Conner will not cry the whole time! He's just like I use to be. I'm praying my kids aren't that way, but I'm doomed to have at least one as pay backs... ugh.

Anyway, enough of my ramblings, that's what we've been up to this week and why we haven't changed our comic in a LONG time. I haven't had much time to myself.

Miss McKenzie,

You didn't cry when you were with your mom. So I don't think you have to worry about your children crying. At least for you any way.

Smile.

But when I wasn't with you, I cried, and Conner does the same thing. BUT! He was super good and didn't cry until he realized I was putting him to bed.
