4th time's a charm!

Yesterday while Marcus was waiting for me to get out of training, he went to Wal Mart. For some strange reason, if we have nothing really to look at, he heads to the car washing section. So, since he was just killing time, he went there. He ended up buying a Mr. Clean car wash thingy. So when we got home we had to try it out and wash our car. It must be just as amazing as the Mr. Clean magic erasers, because finally, after 4 washes, our car is totally free of the vaseline, whipped cream, peanut butter, oreos and who knows what else that ended up on it during our reception. Our little Versa now looks just as good as it did before we got married Ü
Too bad I didn't get a picture of the car acutally clean. It rained today. You know, one of those Mesquite rains, where is blows really hard and looks like it's going to pour, then it rains for a good 30 seconds and the sky is clear. Just enough rain and wind to make the car dirty!

Hey, just so you know, I did NOT participate in the car trashing incident and actually chewed out the people who were doing it. I HATE that tradition with a passion! Tacky, tacky, tacky!

I did participate in the car DECORATING, and we had a blast doing it. I must say that at least you didn't end up with sunflower seeds (for fertility) in your car, on the dashboard...where of course they ended up in the defrosting thing (the hole at the part of the dashboard where the windsheild is) where they rattled every time you turned on your air for over a year after our wedding.

It's a fun tradition to let people know how much you care bout them, even if they don't appreciate it at the time, or years afterwards.

We didn't mind it, we thought it was fun. But the vaseline on the windshield wipers is what made Marcus upset. That's one of the very few times I have seen him upset. But he was over it when we got new windshield wipers.

He is kind of protective over that car. Yesterday on our way to St. George, a disel flipped rocks at us and put microscopic chips in the windshield. He was sorta sad about that. It's quite funny.

Ok... What is this about being upset about the reception raid? Ok some people are too protective of some things. There was nothing that could not be undone and we kept things G rated. Weddings are for all parties to enjoy. I understand that sometimes things can get out of hand. But, it could have been worse.
Just think you are now in the married crowd. Now you can have revenge indirectly on people who are getting married! We at least wrapped most of you car before a lot of the messy stuff got done to it. I would say that its a good way to be creative. I am sorry that the whole thing got you both upset. Its not a personal but, it was fun. So, who is our next victims...I mean who is getting married next! haha
