You heard it first!...

Being my loyal blog readers, you are privileged to hear this great news first!... Or maybe this is old news since our Moms know... :) (We love you both!) Either way, we're excited about this news and are going to tell you!

Marcus finally got a job as a Radiology Tech!

Those 2 years of driving to Las Vegas daily weren't in vain, and repaying the loans won't hurt as bad!

He is starting July 1st at Mesa View Hospital per diem (as needed). There are a lot of changes happening in their radiology department at the moment. Once all the dust settles, it sounds like he will have the hours equivalent to a full time position or an actual full-time spot! Hallelujah!

I cannot even begin to tell you how excited we are. We have been waiting for this kind of news for almost 2 years! Our patience as been tested, that's for sure. Looking elsewhere for jobs never felt right. We always felt like we are where we're supposed to be, which was okay with both of us. Mesquite isn't really a prime spot for x-ray tech jobs, but the golf course has been a good job in the mean time. Until we are sure he is going to be able to get good, consistent hours, Marcus will still work at the golf course too. I will be SO happy if we are finally able to say hasta la vista to that place in the near future.

Even if he ends up with only part-time hours, we are glad that his education will finally be put to use. We are so glad he has the chance to get his foot in the door somewhere.
